Dementia 101 In-Person
Pre-registration is required and space is limited.*
You're invited to an informative presentation on a variety of dementia-related topics, designed to further your knowledge and help you provide the best possible care and support for individuals with memory impairments. Family members of a loved one with dementia can benefit from additional information and guidance. In this free, hour-long session you'll learn about the common types of dementia, specifically Alzheimer's disease, and how it affects a person's functional and mental abilities. You'll learn to identify behaviors that can be found in people living with dementia and understand what is being communicated through those behaviors. The class will be presented by Rosalee Ronquillo, Senior Community Ambassador at Silverado Bellingham Memory Care. *Register online or call the Help Desk at 360-778-7323 to sign up.
