Home Emergency Preparedness: Shelter-In-Place In-Person
In this series offered by the Bellingham Fire Department's Office of Emergency Management, we will share and discuss a different topic each month. This month will focus on Shelter-In-Place. We discuss "expedient" sheltering in place when directed in the event of a local environmental threat such as a spill or release of an industrial quantity of a harmful chemical. We discuss how to select an interior room and how to seal it to create an expedient shelter space. Classes are free and no registration is required!
